  • What is your design service and how will it benefit me?

    We provide a professional graphic design and branding resource to our clients. Depixion professionals have over 15 years experience working on a wide range of design sectors including corporate, bluechip, retail, advertising and government bodies. We design for all mediums, taking into consideration future brand growth needs. Some of the most common design solutions include advertising design, brand logo / visual identity, brochure & Magazines, editorial, packaging design, marketing material, stationery and website design. Your company will benefit from having experienced design professionals applying intelligent marketing and design solutions to to your project.

  • Surely I can do all my own design work in Microsoft Word or Microsoft Publisher?

    It is often counter productive to attempt to design your own company literature, website etc. A good graphic design agency will have professional experienced personnel that will think beyond the job in hand and offer an objective view on the project. Depixion strives to develop a concept for every job, not just produce something graphically interesting. Microsoft Word and Publisher are also not always user-friendly for printers, we ensure every file created is of high resolution and of a press ready formats as we design with industry leading software.

  • If I commission a design project who owns the copyright and intellectual property rights?

    All creative works undertaken at Depixion remain the property of Depixion only until the project has finished and fully paid for. Once the project has been fully completed and paid for we release all our creative work to you along with copyrights, also artwork that is supplied for proofing purposes before during the project cannot be used in any media publication until project completion.

  • Where do we start and how do you involve your clients in the design process?

    We always start by thoroughly discussing the details of the project with the client. We call this the design brief, it can be verbally communicated through a meeting or remotely via skype or other video service. We like the client to produce material they like, this could be logo styles they like, colour preferences or font choices, once we receive this information we research and start to work through ideas to develop conceptual designs to gain feedback and eventually arrive at the final design.

  • What if I don’t like what you design?

    This is rare. Sometimes we hit the nail on the head first time, sometimes it can take a number of discussions and design submissions before the client is happy with the concept. Ultimately we always ensure our clients walk away satisfied and we feel comfortable that we have put out a job to our highest standards within the confines of the timescale, brief and budget provided.

  • I like your portfolio, how much would a logo cost me?

    Our rates for logo design range between £199 and £450 depending on the number of design iterations we provide dependent on the project brief.

  • Can I organise print through you?

    Your stationery forms part of your branding, as such we can also provide the design and arrangement of your stationery to be printed, all you have to do is discuss this at the time of your project briefing.

  • What about brand guidelines?

    Yes, if we are creating a logo and visual identity for you we recommend producing a brand guidelines document. This illustrates to other designers and graphic professionals the importance of maintaining a consistent brand image for your company through careful use of the logo, typefaces, colours and placement of elements on a page. A document such as this often covers do’s and don’ts and provides an incredibly helpful resource to others. It also demonstrates a level of professionalism within your company that marketing and brand image is an important asset you maintain and protect.

  • Are we free to use the photos you take with no restrictions?

    For all commercial work the photos are completely free for you to use how you see fit, we do not put restrictions on the service we provide.

  • How many photos are included?

    There is no limit to the amount of photos we take on a project, once editing we simply filter out the ones that don’t meet the cut.

  • Is retouching included in the price?

    We include a certain level of photo retouching in the overall price, however radical retouching at request attracts a charge of £75 per hour.

    Following a shoot, we provide raw unedited photos for proofing. Once you are happy with the selection chosen, we then lightly retouch the photo and supply you with the final edits.

  • How do you deliver photos?

    Depending on the file size we use a few different services including minbox, shootproof, wetransfer or Google drive. If you prefer your final photos can be delivered on a memory stick at an extra fee.

  • What is the best way to pay?

    All photo services are invoiced online, you have the ability to book with a deposit with the final balance payable no later than the day of the photo shoot. You can pay the digital invoice by credit card / Debit Card or at your bank by BACS.

  • Do I have to come to you?

    Most of our work is carried out remotely at your location of choice, we carry a full popup studio with backdrops and lighting rig etc, the portable studio can be placed in just about any space, a meeting room, a hall, carpark literally anywhere.

  • Do you offer onsite printing

    Unfortunately we do not provide onsite printing, but we can arrange print just ask the photographer to include your options as part of the service.

  • Do I really need a website and what would it do for me?

    A website is a massive billboard for advertising your business, with over 80% of the worlds population who shop online, wouldn’t you want a slice of that cake. You can take your business online in any capacity, sell products, advertise your services, write a travel blog, start a review site. Whatever your business there is always a way to bring in revenue online, and at a relatively lower cost than traditional paper advertising.

  • My website looks dated, but content is the most important thing right?

    Yes and no! a visitor to your website needs to feel welcomed in the first 3- 5 seconds, so a strong visual design is just as important to your website as is the content, if a customer feels good on your website then the chances are they will stay on your site to find out more about what you can provide. Tie in a great design with unique and interesting content, and you will fair more with your customers, also most websites are now built responsively to give the best viewing experience on every device such as mobiles.

  • Ok so I want a website, where do I start?

    Ok so you have decided that a website is for you, and need to know what to do next. In 3 simple steps we make the process easy and jargon free.

    Step 1. Contact us to discuss your business and what you require your website to do, is it to advertise your services, sell products, informational site, education site or many others.

    Step 2. Meet with us to build a project brief, we can detail exactly what your website will do in terms of functionality, the type of design, colours, and also discuss the content for your site. At this point we also give you an estimation of how long it will take our team to build the website you want.

    Step 3. We design the website to brief, and show you a pre-completed look of your site for general feedback, from there we then tweak the site to complete with a final product. The we test the whole site, to make sure there are no bugs, so the site runs smoothly.

  • Do you provide Hosting and Domains?

    Yes we do, our servers are located here in the U.K. we only use the fastest servers possible to provide a fast and reliable platform for your website to be hosted on. All our servers include SSD harddrives, daily backup service, email communication services, cloudlinux security, and unlimited webspace.

    Our domain registration service is only available when purchasing our hosting service, but we start at £4.99 per year for a single .co.uk domain, but can also help register .com, .net, .org, .uk.com, and a whole host more.

  • Can you provide just website management / maintenance?

    Yes we do, in fact a lot of our business comes in the form of website management and maintenance, we provide website security, optimisation, malware removal, hosting transfers, email management, and a whole host more. Most of our services in this area are available on a adhoc or contract basis (annually) please get in touch with the team to find out more information and how we can help you.

  • How much does a website cost?

    Each website is different to the next we build, its completely dependent on what the individual client requires, A website can cost as little as £399 or as much as £20,000.
